We want to share an important update about Farm Fresh Rewards. Starting September 1, 2025, the program will offer 50% off local produce only at participating stores.

Why the change? Farm Fresh Rewards is powered by the USDA’s GUSNIP grant, which helps families across Maine enjoy more fresh fruits and veggies. To make the most of the limited funding left—and to keep the program going as long as possible—we need to focus the discount on local produce.

The good news: You’ll still save 50% on fresh, local fruits and vegetables, while also supporting Maine farmers!

This decision wasn’t made by the Belfast Community Co-op or Good Shepherd Food Bank, but is necessary to meet funding requirements.
