But Still I Am One provides services to young adults ages 16 to 21 who are unhoused or home-insecure in Waldo County. They aim for a safe haven for these resilient young adults.

Services they provide:

$500 prepaid Visa cards
Assistance for Driving School
Rental Assistance
Guidance and Referrals for life skills

Every shopper may ‘round-up’ their purchases at the Co-op to donate to our monthly recipient. 100% of all donations received through Common Cents go on to each month’s group.

Seaweed Week is a food and drink festival that celebrates Maine's kelp harvest. From April 19th to 28th, enjoy seaweed specials around the state! With over 70 participating businesses, it's the largest seaweed festival in North America.

Seaweed Week is organized by Heritage Seaweed and Maine Sea Grant.
