The Belfast Community Co-op’s Common Cents group for June is RSU 71 School Garden Collaborative! Every shopper may ‘round-up’ their purchases at the Co-op to donate to our monthly recipient. 100% of all donations received through Common Cents go on to each month’s group.
What is RSU 71 School Garden Collaborative?
The RSU 71 Garden Collaborative’s vision is to cultivate ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable gardens across the RSU 71 school district that support an educational ecosystem connecting students, staff, and the broader community.
The collaborative is made up of a group of teachers, students, and food corps members who manage and maintain a total of five vibrant school garden programs across the district.
100% of all donations received through Common Cents go on to each month’s group.
