The Belfast Co-op’s Common Cents group for December is the Friends of Belfast Parks!  Every shopper may ’round-up’ their purchases at the Co-op to donate to our monthly recipient.

The Friends of Belfast Parks is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization working to actively support the preservation & continued development of Belfast’s parks and greenways for the benefit of all our citizens

GOALS:

  • Promote community use, enjoyment, and respect for our local parks; increase public awareness about the inherent values of parks and green space;
  • assist in preserving and improving local park facilities;
  • involve youth in local park improvement projects;
