The Belfast Co-op’s Common Cents group for January is Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition! Every shopper may ’round-up’ their purchases at the Co-op to donate to our monthly recipient. 100% of all donations received through Common Cents go on to each month’s group.

The mission of Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition is to support conservation & stewardship of natural & public resources of the Belfast Bay watershed through research, community-building, and education.

What is Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition?

BBWC’s goals are to enhance the natural functions of the Belfast Bay watershed by increasing awareness and understanding of their natural, scenic and cultural values; encouraging enjoyment of the lands and water; supporting the study of the ecological conditions and features, and cultivating stewards and partners to help sustain natural and cultural resources of the Belfast Bay watershed.
