Community Donations Program

One of the many ways the Belfast Community Co-op strives to serve our region, support ethical consumer values, and contribute to food justice is through our Community Donations Program. Each month we donate money, food and time to local nonprofits and organizations whose work helps strengthen food access and build local resilience.

Our donation priorities include organizations that:

• Support local farmers and small-scale agriculture
• Promote food sovereignty, food justice, and health equity
• Educate around nutrition, environmental justice, and ethical consumption
