When renovating an older building, the first step is usually demolition. Though most of the work has been done behind the scenes, such as clearing the basement and rearranging storage, offices, and computer equipment, shoppers can now hear the progress in Week 3. The basement is buzzing with jackhammers as they prepare the concrete slab for improved electrical and plumbing systems. Additionally, crews have removed the 60 year old furnace and are dismantling the rear offices to make way for new sales floor equipment.
