Local Egg Recall Notice

Rainbow Farm eggs is recalling all of their local non-gmo eggs due to potential contamination with Salmonella. Salmonella can cause serious, and sometimes fatal, infections, especially in young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.  The Co-op is in contact with the State Department of Agriculture.

 

 

Rainbow Farm distributes out of Orland, Maine to the surrounding area.

Recall Details:

  • All cartons of Rainbow Farm eggs
  • UPC: 196852325337
  • Items sold between 8/19 and 9/19

What you should Do:

  • Do not consume recalled products.
  • Dispose of all products.

What we are doing:

We have removed all affected cartons from our shelves. If you purchased any of these eggs, please do not consume them and discard all products.  A customer may request a refund for their purchase by coming into the Co-op.
